How does ELD support businesses?
ELD provides training, development, and a network of support for your diverse business employees and activates them in the community. Training opportunities better prepare your diverse staff members for leadership roles, and having civically engaged employees is of great benefit to local businesses by creating goodwill in the community and fostering meaningful connections. Additionally, diverse networks like ELD provide a strong support system and a sense of community for people of color in the professional world.
ELD also provides businesses with a pipeline of potential employees. Through the ELD program, businesses have access to more than 2,000 ELD members, who are trained professionals looking to actively engage with the local community. Our Online Civic Engagement Profiles demonstrate how ELD Members are uniquely trained and actively engaged, by showcasing their achievements, experience, and even LinkedIn profiles.
As President and CEO of the Colorado Springs Black Chamber, it was my personal goal to bring as many professionals connected to the Black Chamber universe into the ELD program. We have so many great people in business who are looking to make an impact beyond making profits. This is the best place to start!
