Heather Kelley is Vice President of Leadership and Fellowship Program Officer, which includes directing the Fellowship program and providing strategic leadership to Fellowship Recruiting, Alumni Relations, Internship, and Penrose Operational and Professional Leadership (PeOPLE) programs. Heather began her career in resort retail and in owning and operating a small business in the Vail and Roaring Fork Valleys of Colorado. Prior to joining El Pomar in 2024, she was Assistant Director of Employer Relations at Colorado College and assisted with the Career Exploration and CareerWise programs at Eagle County Schools. She is a certified coach and a career readiness specialist.

Heather grew up in Steamboat Springs, which influenced a lifelong love of the Colorado mountains.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University, majoring in Human Development and Family Studies and is pursuing a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
