Vernon Howe Bailey’s original pencil sketches of The Broadmoor Hotel from 1918 line the walls of this boardroom. Bailey was a staff artist for newspapers and magazines in Philadelphia, Boston, and London. Spencer Penrose commissioned Bailey to provide drawings for the first brochure of The Broadmoor Hotel for it’s opening on June 29, 1918.
